The 6K spectrum is equivalent to your standard MH lamp. The 6K has a “cooler” spectrum and is the best lamp for straight vegetative use to encourage shorter node spacing and bushier plants.
The 10K is used for the last 7-14 days of bloom to allow better ripening and finishing by enhancing the production of essential oils during this final stage of growth.
